Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a capable Front of House Supervisor to lead a service-minded team and deliver memorable dining experiences. You will train staff, maintain service standards, and partner with management to ensure seamless operations.

You will nurture guest relations, manage shift tasks, and uphold cleanliness and safety protocols while adapting to a fast-paced environment, including flexible scheduling for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for crafting personalized guest experiences.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead service education through daily line-ups and staff training programs.
• Collaborate with managers and Chef to ensure quality and presentation of food.
• Help meet budget with focus on cost control (cost of sales and payroll).
• Coordinate training and performance evaluations among staff.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; delegate work and provide feedback.
• Monitor cleanliness of the restaurant and coordinate with Chef on kitchen hygiene.
• Coordinate service area maintenance and supervise non-supervisory staff.
• Support interviewing and coaching to address issues and improve performance.
