Job summary

Wenzell & Fisher Hospitality Group in Harbor Springs, MI is seeking a dynamic Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead our task force and oversee all FOH operations on site. Lodging is provided if you are not local, and the role requires guiding a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have proven FOH management experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Front of House Manager in a restaurant.
• Strong leadership and staff development.
• Excellent communication and guest service.
• Ability to manage fast-paced operations.
• Flexible evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH operations including hosts, servers, bartenders, and bussers.
• Lead, train, and motivate FOH staff to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure seating, order taking, and service flow for guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest feedback to improve service quality.
• Support special events and promotions.
