Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a Host(ess) to greet Guests with a warm welcome as they arrive and help guide them to seating areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to servers. You will inform guests about current promotions and maintain friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to manage guest flow in a fast-paced environment while maintaining Fridays Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry natural conversations with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive
• Must be able to read menus
• Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance
• Must be able to clearly communicate Guests’ needs to staff
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment to answer calls and respond to requests
• Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
• Seat Guests in bar or dining area based on their preference
• Inform Guests of current promotions and introduce their server for a smooth handoff
• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide appropriate service
• Manage flow of Guests, provide accurate wait times when needed
• Tend to special Guest needs and requests
• Follow Fridays Service Standards for greeting Guests
• Observe Guests’ needs to ensure high-quality service
