Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a friendly Host(ess) to create a warm first impression for Guests in our Maryland restaurant. You will greet Guests, guide seating, share promotions, and ensure smooth handoffs to servers while answering calls and managing guest flow.

Provide attentive service, assist with seating and guest needs, and uphold Fridays Service Standards to ensure a consistently welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry natural conversations with Guests without sounding scripted
• Must be able to read menus
• Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests
• Must be able to understand requests for assistance
• Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.)
• Must be able to stand and walk during shifts

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests warmly upon arrival and departure
• Seat Guests in bar or dining area per preference
• Inform Guests of current promotions and introduce service staff
• Answer restaurant phone calls and assist Guests as needed
• Manage flow of Guests and communicate accurate wait times
• Attend to special Guest needs and requests
• Follow Fridays Service Standards to deliver consistent service
• Be observant of Guests’ needs to ensure high-quality service
