Job summary

RIZE Host/Hostess at Ironworks, Indianapolis, IN, is a front-of-house role within Cunningham Restaurant Group. The Host greets guests, manages the waitlist and reservations, escorts guests to tables, and assists with coat check as needed.

The position requires friendly, customer-focused individuals with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided for those new to hosting, and evening/weekend availability is common.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them, manage the waitlist and reservations, and escort guests to tables.
• Take and confirm reservations by phone or through the reservation system; maintain an up-to-date book.
• Provide guests with information about the restaurant, menu items, and daily specials; assist with coat check if applicable.
• Maintain effective communication with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff for smooth seating and service.
• Keep the host/hostess stand and waiting area clean, organized, and well-stocked, and ensure menus are readily available.
