Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests and manage seating with warmth and efficiency. You will handle reservations, greet guests on arrival, provide wait times, and ensure seating specifications are met whenever possible.

You will also serve as a critical link between the kitchen and dining room, relaying messages to support staff and managers as needed to maintain a smooth flow of service throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of restaurant host experience.
• Positive energy and teamwork oriented.
• Strong communication with managers, staff, and guests.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods with occasional bending or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations using OpenTable.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
• Provide estimated waiting time and manage seating when visibility is limited.
• Act as liaison between kitchen and dining room and relay messages to staff.
