The Thoroughbred Club at The Charleston Place is seeking a Host who warmly welcomes guests and sets a positive tone for the dining experience. You will manage reservations, seating, and waitlists while coordinating with the serving team to ensure seamless service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic computer and POS skills, and strong communication abilities. Prior hospitality experience is preferred to describe menu items and upsell house specialties, with a focus on guest

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred.
• Must speak/read/write the primary language used with guests and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of POS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to seating.
• Escort guests and present menus for a smooth welcome.
• Manage reservations and waitlists, update guests on wait times.
• Maintain a clean, organized host station and entrance area.
• Describe menu items and prices, using suggestive selling when appropriate.
