Job summary

The Karol Hotel is a boutique Marriott Tribute Portfolio property in Clearwater, FL, seeking an attentive host to welcome guests, manage seating and reservations, and support the dining team. You will communicate with servers, maintain a clean front-of-house, and contribute to a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate wait times, using the POS system, and upholding service standards while promoting guest satisfaction during all shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to use tablets or iPads.
• Ability to assist with menu revisions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly.
• Maintain reservations on OpenTable.
• Communicate seating flow to servers and assist as needed.
• Keep front of restaurant clean and tables ready for guests.
• Assist managers with daily station scheduling and duties.
• Support guest experience to achieve Marriott Guest Satisfaction scores.
