Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an expeditor or in a similar role in a restaurant preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Food Quality Control: inspect all dishes before leaving the kitchen to ensure quality and presentation.
• Coordinate timing of food orders with the kitchen to ensure all dishes for a table are ready together.
• Ensure order accuracy by cross-checking tickets and communicating special requests to the kitchen.
• Garnish and Presentation: verify plating and presentation meet standards.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff, servers, and management; relay status and guest requests promptly.
• Keep expo station clean, organized, and stocked; assist with overall restaurant cleanliness.
