Job summary

The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a Food Services Leader for Front of House Catering. The role oversees event execution, utilizes BEOs, supervises staff, and ensures outstanding customer service across zoo events.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of food services management experience, a related degree is preferred, and a food safety certification is required. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is needed to meet event demands.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in food services management or equivalent.
• Must possess required certification in food service sanitation.
• Must be 21+ years of age; flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of events across zoo grounds and supervise staff on event days.
• Train and direct staff, supervise food preparation, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
