Job summary

The Toledo Zoo seeks a Food Services Leader – Front of House Catering to oversee events across the zoo, using BEOs, supervise staff, and ensure top-notch guest service.

You’ll manage safety, sanitation, cash handling, inventory, and vendor coordination, while training team members and maintaining shop operations in accordance with zoo policies and OSHA rules. This is a full-time role with expansion potential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of food services management experience or equivalent.
• Prefer degree in Food Service, Business, or related field.
• Must possess certification in food service sanitation.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work nights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by fleet carrier.
• Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace, including marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel during events.
