Job summary

Chick-fil-A Hazlet is seeking a Assistant Director to lead a mid-level leadership team and optimize daily operations. You will drive guest and team member experience while managing cost centers, till counts, and maintenance tasks.

The role focuses on implementing efficient systems within a fast-paced restaurant environment. The position requires ServSafe certification by the end of the 90-day probation, a high school diploma or GED, and availability Saturdays on a rotating schedule from 5:30am

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in restaurant, beverage, food or hospitality is strongly preferred.
• ServSafe Management certification is required by end of the 90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-level leadership including Captains and Supervisors.
• Maintain operational efficiency by assisting in running shifts and giving feedback to drive growth.
• Exceed guest and team member expectations by following systems and policies.
• Create and implement systems and processes for segments of the business.
• Assist Directors and Operators with policies and procedures to optimize operations.
• Manage store finances via till, safe counts, and cost centers including labor and maintenance.
• Oversee Customer Experience Metrics (CEMs) and implement protocols to improve outcomes.
• Adhere to Deloitte and EcoSure inspection procedures through established policies.

Primary Role Responsibilities:

• Leading through the lens of Chick-fil-A's 5 critical success factors: Leadership, Talent, Financial Stewardship, Sales-Brand Growth and Customer Experience, while following the primary objective of Chick-fil-A Hazlet: 1% better everyday.
• Management of mid-level leadership team made up of Captains and Supervisors.
• Maintaining operational efficiency by assisting mid-level management in running shifts and providing critical feedback to team members in order to drive growth within the location amongst the team and guests.
• Exceeding guest and team member expectations by following systems and policies.
• Successful creation and implementation of systems and processes for individual segments of the business.
• Assist Directors and Operator with creation of policies and procedures to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
• Effective management of the stores finances by means of daily till and safe counting, online financial management software (InForm and Signal) and cost centers including labor productivity, food gap, building and equipment maintenance.
• Customer Experience Metrics (CEMs) management via continued leadership of the team and implementing systems and protocols to maximize their outcome.
• Deloitte and EcoSure 3rd party inspection adherence via leadership of established procedures and policies.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree or Above strongly recommended.
• Experience within the restaurant, beverage, food or hospitality industry strongly recommended.
• Leadership experience within an organization, club or sport strongly recommended.
• ServSafe Management certification is required by the conclusion of the 90 Day Probationary period.
• Saturday availability with a rotating weekly schedule amongst other Assistant Directors within operation hours: 5:30a to 11pm is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $20/HR starting with overtime immediately available - $22/HR raise post 90 Day probationary period + satisfactory completion of training requirements
