Job summary

Beyond Catering is seeking a Front of House Guest Service Associate in Chicago. You will learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru roles, greet guests, record orders accurately, and take payments while upholding high-quality food standards and sanitary workspaces.

The role involves cashiering, expediting and supporting take-out orders, with a focus on quick, friendly service and teamwork to deliver great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Must maintain a clean and sanitary environment and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Record orders accurately and handle payments as cashier.
• Greet guests with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and servers to ensure food quality.
• Assist with take-out/phone orders and maintain cleanliness.

Pay range:

From $16.75 - $17.5; based on experience + tips

Job Summary:

As a Front of House Guest Service Associate, you will be expected to learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru positions.You will greet our guests with a smile, quickly and accurately record orders, and take payment. You will also serve food that meets our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities:

Cashier:

• Knowledge and understanding of our menu
• Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform with enthusiasm
• Communicate and work with your team to give outstanding service to our guests
• Greet every guest with a smile!

Expediter/Server:

• Be able to recognize our food as it is presented from the kitchen
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
• Communication with kitchen and servers
• Assist with take-out/phone orders
• Serve & auction food properly and in a timely manner
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent communication and positive attitude
