Job summary

Beyond Catering in River Forest, IL is hiring a Front of House Guest Service Associate to greet guests, learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru duties, and accurately record orders with swift payment processing.

You will also serve food meeting high-quality standards while keeping a clean, sanitary workspace. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude required.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate before or during employment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, record orders, and handle payments as a Cashier.
• Coordinate with kitchen and servers to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist with take-out/phone orders and drive-thru duties.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards throughout shifts.

Pay range:

From $15 - $27; based on experience + tips

Job Summary:

As a Front of House Guest Service Associate, you will be expected to learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru positions. You will greet our guests with a smile, quickly and accurately record orders, and take payment. You will also serve food that meets our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities:

Cashier

• Knowledge and understanding of our menu
• Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform with enthusiasm
• Communicate and work with your team to give outstanding service to our guests
• Greet every guest with a smile!

Expediter/Server

• Be able to recognize our food as it is presented from the kitchen
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
• Communication with kitchen and servers
• Assist with take-out/phone orders
• Serve & auction food properly and in a timely manner
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:
