Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons in Reading, PA is hiring a Front Load Driver to safely operate a trash collection truck on municipal routes and subscription collections. You will ensure compliant, efficient service while maintaining daily logs and vehicle condition reports.

The role requires a PA CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, DOT medical certification, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. We offer competitive pay, health and life insurance, a 401K with company match, and annual bonus

Qualifications

• Valid PA CDL Class B with air brake endorsement.
• DOT medical certificate as required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.
• Clean driving record and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-load trash truck in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy on assigned routes.
• Transport and dump municipal waste at transfer stations or landfills.
• Coordinate with Route Supervisor/Dispatch for instructions and updates.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain logs and route sheets; document loads and fuel/use as required.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
