Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Front Load Driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes, hauling waste or recycling to disposal sites. You will operate trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain logs while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, DOT medical card, and willingness to work nights/weekends. Physical demands include frequent crawling, lifting, and outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and navigation system.
• Excellent truck driving and maneuvering skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• Must have valid Class B CDL and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to provide trash or recycling removal on assigned routes by emptying containers into the truck.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 100–150 times per day.
• Open and secure service gates while servicing customers.
• Pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings as needed.
• Maintain and update route & driver logs.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers and provide excellent service.
