Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Front Load Driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes, hauling waste or recycling to disposal sites. You will operate trucks safely, perform pre/post inspections, and interact professionally with customers.

Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card required; able to work nights and weekends; occasional travel to multiple offices may be needed. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.
• Must read and speak English well enough to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to provide trash or recycling removal on assigned routes.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 100–150 times per day.
• Open and secure service gates while servicing customers.
• Pull or push containers from enclosures or buildings as needed.
• Maintain and update route and driver log sheets.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and DVIR logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and safe dumping procedures.
• Clean around containers and follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
