Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Front-Line Leader for the Rotors System Center on the 1st shift (7:00 AM–4:00 PM).

You will direct up to 25 union-represented employees, drive safety, quality, and cost performance, and coordinate with Supply Chain, Process Engineering, and Quality to meet production targets. The role requires a High School diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 2+ years in manufacturing, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing environment experience required.
• 3+ years in a professional leadership role preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications, detail oriented and data driven.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work multiple shifts.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training desirable.
• GD&T knowledge preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
• Discipline of employees when necessary.
• Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Use metrics driven accountability for TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.
• Collaborate with multiple functions (Supply Chain, Process Engineering, CI, Quality).
• Develop, support, and implement process improvements.
• Evaluate business impact with metrics and schedules.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication and organizational skills.
