CarMax is seeking a Front-Line Manager in Training in Salt Lake City, UT. The six-week program develops leadership skills and prepares you to lead operations and teams in CarMax’s Service Operations.

Upon completion, you may advance to roles such as Flow Mechanical Manager, Inventory Manager, or Service Manager, with opportunities for bonus eligibility and equity depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage teams to hit operational goals.
• Strong data interpretation and accuracy for compliance.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with staff and customers.
• Proficiency in common and proprietary software systems.
• Valid driver's license; able to work indoors/outdoors in various weather.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays; travel possibility.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of the training content.
• Support execution of store procedures and processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Complete the Management Development Program and apply leadership principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and meet goals.

• Prepare to transition into a leadership role and manage associates.
• Oversee EH&S program including inspections, waste, safety, and PPE.
