Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring for a Seasonal Cashier/Front End Team Member in the United States. You will process transactions quickly, greet customers, and promote the loyalty program while maintaining a friendly, high-service environment.

You may also take on sales associate or merchandiser duties. Training on wine, spirits and beer is provided, and you’ll learn about promotions and safety protocols to ensure a compliant store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
• Comply with laws related to sale of alcohol and maintain a safe store environment
• Perform cross-functional duties as assigned
• Seasonal role may be short term (up to six months) with option to apply for non-seasonal role
