Job summary

Total Wine & More in Sacramento is seeking a Front End Team Member (Cashier) to provide fast, friendly service and process transactions. You will greet customers, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and ensure the store environment is safe and well-organized.

This role offers either part-time or full-time hours, requires 1–3 years of retail experience and POS familiarity, and requires availability for evenings and weekends. Training and product knowledge development are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers and promoting loyalty programs.
• Build product knowledge through training on wine, spirits, and beer offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and store policies.
