Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions and assist customers at checkout
• Bag groceries and help complete purchases efficiently
• Keep front-end organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout the day
• Rotate between tasks: scanning, bagging, restocking, and maintaining checkout area
• Assist with carts, restocking supplies, and general front-end upkeep
• Respond to customer questions and resolve simple issues
• Follow store procedures for checkout and cash handling
• Adapt to changing priorities and customer flow during shifts
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Work indoors and outdoors as required
