Raley's in Avondale, AZ, is seeking a Customer Service Team Lead to support the Store Team Lead and oversee front-end operations for a fast-paced grocery environment. You will help ensure a smooth, accurate checkout and a welcoming shopping experience for every customer.

This entry-level management role focuses on coaching, training new team members, enforcing safety and policies, and delivering consistent, high-quality customer service across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be 21 years of age for positions serving alcohol.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information and always providing a genuine thank you.
• Create a store environment members want to work in, and customers want to shop in.
• Operate a cash register and man the store’s customer service counter.
• Direct all operations on the front end of the grocery store.
• Work with courtesy clerks and cashier/clerks to ensure professionalism and service quality.
• Enforce store rules and company policies.
• Help select and train new team members.
• Lead the department as a role model, coach, and trainer.
• Ensure compliance with health and weights and measures policies.
• Order and merchandise the general department across categories.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed by all team members.
