Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age; 21 years of age for positions serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers with smiles and greetings; provide product information and a genuine thank you.
• Create a store environment that members want to work in and customers want to shop in.
• Operate a cash register and manage the customer service counter.
• Direct all front-end operations of the grocery store.
• Collaborate with courtesy clerks and cashier/clerks to ensure professionalism and service.
• Observe and enforce all store rules and company policies.
• Assist in selecting and training new team members.
• Lead the department; coach, evaluate, and train team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and weights & measures policies.
• Order and merchandise general department (grocery, dairy, liquor, HBC, non-foods, frozen foods, deli, displays).
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed by all team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
