Job summary

Food City is seeking a Front End Supervisor to ensure courteous service and maintain the front-end operations in Erwin, TN. You will supervise cashiers, courtesy clerks, and fuel associates while enforcing the “No more than two customers waiting in line” policy and securing cash handling procedures.

The role requires on-site availability, basic math, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard physical and mental demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Supervise and monitor the total functions of the front end.
• Supervise and monitor all cashiers, courtesy clerks, and fuel associates.
• Maintain security of safe and change funds and count safe during scheduled shifts.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and ensuring sales area is clean and organized.
