Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Full-Time Selling Floor Supervisor to lead store functions, train staff, and drive sales while ensuring safety and excellent customer service.

This role reports to store management and serves as a stepping-stone to higher management within our growing organization. The candidate will supervise associates, foster teamwork, manage merchandising, operations, and HR tasks, and participate in weekly planning.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in retail
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure exceptional customer service
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortages
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence
