Job summary

This role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years in retail, at least one year in a leadership capacity, and Serv Safe certification is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in natural foods industry is a plus.
• Serv Safe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Oversees accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and proper cash controls at the registers.
• Models fast, friendly customer service and engages with customers.
• Follows POS procedures and price change compliance.
