Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is seeking a capable Coordinator to join our front-end team. You will ensure fast, friendly checkout experiences and support daily store operations in a dynamic, growth‑focused environment.

You will supervise cash handling, greet customers, and help teammates deliver outstanding service while maintaining accuracy and safety. Previous retail leadership experience and a high school diploma are preferred; training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers entering store and responds promptly to customer needs.
• Oversees the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
• Operates cash register and displays cost of purchases, tax, and rebates.
• Maintains clean checkout areas and ensures no personal items are in the area.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Reviews customer feedback from previous day or week.
• Prepares, stocks store and display merchandise appropriately.
• Price change and food safety compliance.
• Ordering of manual ordered items.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise facing products.
• Ensure all products are priced and sale prices up to date.
• Provides consultation to customers regarding consumer products.
• Execute ad set compliance including signage.
• Meet or exceed sales floor condition expectations.
