Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market seeks a Coordinator team member to efficiently process customer sales at front registers with a friendly, energetic demeanor. You will assist customers, ensure accurate POS transactions, and safeguard store assets while maintaining clean checkout areas.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of grocery retail experience and at least a high school diploma; Serv Safe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Serv Safe Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive outstanding service at checkout lanes.
• Oversee the accurate operation of cash registers and payment processing.
• Maintain clean, orderly checkout areas and proper cash controls.
• Assist customers and provide friendly, energetic service.
• Price changes and ad signage compliance, stock merchandising.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and department procedures.
