Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the Rocky Mount store. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized front end. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are valued.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing purchases accurately, and supporting the Front End team to meet service standards. This role requires a friendly attitude and dependable availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform cashier and service center functions.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific functions.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, accurate, and friendly service to customers.
• Greet customers by name when possible and maintain a positive shopping experience.
• Assist with front end operations and cash handling.
• Maintain neat and clean front end presentations and accurate cash reports.
• Ensure proper operation of register functions and related services.
• Notify managers of any issues or malfunctions promptly.
