Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate in Orange, VA to deliver fast, friendly service and uphold Front End Standard Practice. You will assist the Customer Service Manager, greet customers, handle cash, and keep the front end area clean and organized.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to learn multiple tasks while maintaining safety and accuracy in transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and cashier/system functions.
• Ability to perform cashier and service center duties.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical ability.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate, friendly service to customers.
• Greet customers and use their name when possible.
• Maintain neat front end area and accurate cash handling.
• Know office procedures including cash reports, deposits, and transactions.
• Keep MVP savings center KIOSK stocked and functioning.
• Perform sales associate tasks when scheduled or as needed.
