Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and assist customers at the Hope Mills store. You will greet customers, process transactions, help bag groceries, and maintain register accuracy while providing a clean, organized front-end area.

Responsibilities include handling various payment methods, supporting To-Go orders when applicable, and contributing to a positive shopping experience through teamwork and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and duties quickly.
• Must be able to meet minimum age requirements.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers.
• Greet customers and use their name when possible.
• Unload groceries from cart area and assist with bagging.
• Follow bagging procedures and current front-end standards.
• Handle cash, checks, coupons, gift cards and loyalty vouchers per policy.
• Assist customers with To-Go orders and location information when needed.
• Maintain cash accuracy and proper register operation; report malfunctions.
