Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Service Coordinator to lead and support front-end operations, coordinating checkout flow, maintaining front-end standards, and assigning work to cashiers, service desk and courtesy team members. You will coach the team, optimize labor and address customer concerns to improve satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Service Coordinator training curriculum (Cashier, Service Desk & Courtesy Team).
• Ability to operate cash register system and financial services equipment.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate handoffs between shifts with peer leadership.
• Perform survival walk and shift-to-shift handoffs when leaders are absent.
• Monitor shrink and financial outcomes; escalate concerns to leadership.
