Job summary

Kroger at 3400 Youngfield St, Wheat Ridge CO is hiring for a Front End/Customer Service role. You will greet customers, assist with products, and ensure efficient checkout while adhering to policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good math skills and numerical literacy.
• Sound judgement/decision making skills.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working and shopping environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service with sincerity, patience and respect.
• Greet customers and assist them by escorting to products and retrieving items.
• Anticipate customer needs and resolve issues to strengthen loyalty.
• Oversee front end operations to meet sales, profit and labor goals.
• Maintain front end conditions and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure accurate checkout and policy adherence.
• Train and coach associates on front end policies and procedures.
• Communicate pricing discrepancies to the pricing coordinator.
• Provide back-up coverage for the service operations manager in their absence.
• Know checkout transactions policies and perform bookkeeping duties.
• Operate equipment per company standards.
• Assist with front-end functions including stocking and bagging.
