ShopRite of Milford is seeking a Front End Runner to deliver a great customer experience by scanning, pricing and bagging items, collecting payment, and providing correct change in a fast, friendly manner.

The role requires English proficiency, basic math, and the stamina to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures while maintaining safety and company policies. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must perform basic math.
• Must stand/walk for a full shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs.
• Work with various food products and maintain safety.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Must interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Must work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Enter customer information into databases for eligibility in programs.
• Know product locations and assist customers.
• Handle payments and issue refunds or loyalty cards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the front-end area.
• Operate the cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure adherence to front-end policies and pricing accuracy.
