Job summary

ShopRite of Marlboro in Marlboro, NJ is hiring a Front End Runner to deliver a great customer experience, scanning, pricing, bagging, and handling payments. You will assist with store operations and maintain a friendly, efficient checkout flow.

The position requires strong English skills, basic math, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Teamwork and customer service are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• The minimum required qualifications include reading, writing, speaking, analyzing, interpreting and understanding English.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash register operations when needed.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift and lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and organized work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Enter customer information into databases for eligibility in Wakefern programs.
• Process payments and manage cash handling procedures.
• Handle refunds and Price Plus cards; follow checkout procedures and policies.
• Support department operations and assist other associates as needed.
