CVS Health Corporation’s Omnicare division in Edison, NJ seeks a Front End Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role. You will perform order entry and support the pharmacist in dispensing in a closed-door setting.

You’ll triage service requests, verify dosages, review narcotics timing, and maintain accurate patient records. A state-certified technician and a high school diploma are required; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One (1) year or more of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and support the dispensing process with the pharmacist.
• Triaging customer service requests by department and urgency.
• Verify dosage calculations based on prescriptions.
• Ensure narcotic Rx returns are reviewed in a timely manner.
• Provide allergy and drug interaction information to the pharmacist.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
