Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician. You will perform order entry tasks and support the dispensing process in our closed‑door pharmacy, helping the pharmacist ensure accuracy and deliver exceptional service.

You will triage requests, verify dosages, review narcotics timelines, and maintain accurate customer records while collaborating with a fast-paced team committed to patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Preferred: PTCB National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing.
• Providing pharmacists with allergy/interactions and other flags from the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
