Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support order entry and collaboration with the dispensing team in a closed-door pharmacy. The role emphasizes accuracy, strong customer service, and teamwork to ensure efficient medication processing.

Ideal candidates will have an active pharmacy technician certification, at least one year of experience, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• PTCB National Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timeliness.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information on allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications flagged by the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
