Job summary

CVS Health, through Omnicare, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support the dispensing process in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will triage requests, support the pharmacist, and help ensure accurate order entry and excellent customer service.

The role requires state-licensed pharmacy technician status and at least 1 year of experience, with a typical 40-hour work week and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician per state law.
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic Rx's to ensure timely processing.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions and other flagged items.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
