Omnicare is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a 24‑hour location serving long‑term care facilities. You will perform order entry tasks and support the dispensing process alongside the pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.

The role requires 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience and licensure as required by state law, with shifts from mid‑morning to late evening in a Richmond area setting. Benefits are provided for eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department and urgency.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions.
• Assisting in reviewing narcotics Rx to ensure timely processing.
• Providing pharmacists with allergy and interaction information.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
