Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, seeks a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support medication dispensing in a closed-door pharmacy serving long-term care facilities. You’ll enter orders, assist the pharmacist, and focus on accurate records and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx’s in a timely manner.
• Provide dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, and other flagged items.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
