Omnicare is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join the team supporting long-term care facilities. You will perform order entry, assist the pharmacist, and ensure accuracy while maintaining excellent customer service in a closed-door pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Preferred: experience in long-term care settings
• PTCB certification education: High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with the pharmacist in the medication dispensing process
• Triaging customer service requests by department and urgency
• Verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Provide information on allergies and drug interactions to the pharmacist
• Create and maintain accurate customer records
