Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician in Pittsburgh to join a closed-door pharmacy team focused on accurate order entry and exceptional customer service. You will work alongside the dispensing pharmacist to support safe, timely patient care.

The role requires 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience, state-license/registration as applicable, and a Verifiable High School Diploma or GED. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and stable full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure accuracy.
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency and information required.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Review narcotics Rx's and ensure timely processing with the pharmacist.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
