Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our closed-door pharmacy team. The role emphasizes accurate order entry, collaboration with pharmacists, and top-tier customer service in a supportive environment.

Required: current certification/licensure as a pharmacy technician per state law and 1+ year of experience. Preferred: long-term care experience and PTCB certification. High School diploma or GED required. 40-hour work week with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's for timely processing.
• Provide pharmacists with allergy, drug interaction, and interaction flags.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
