Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health company, seeks a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our closed-door pharmacy team. You will handle order entry, support dispensing processes, and work with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and strong customer service.

The role offers a 2nd shift schedule (Sat, Sun, Mon, Fri; Wed or Thur optional) with a 12pm-8:30pm weekend block and 12:30-9pm weekday block, plus competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Preferred: long-term care experience; PTCB certification; High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry and assist in the medication dispensing process alongside the pharmacist.
• Triaging customer service requests and ensuring accurate dosage based on prescriptions.
• Provide information to the pharmacist about allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications flagged by the system.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
