The role requires an active pharmacy technician certification/licensure and at least one year of experience, with full-time hours and a typical 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information required.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing.
• Providing pharmacists with information on allergies, interactions, and duplications.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
