Job summary

CVS Health, through Omnicare, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support the medication dispensing process in a closed-door pharmacy. You will enter orders, verify accuracy with pharmacists, and deliver strong customer service in a collaborative setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, patient safety, and efficient recordkeeping while participating in a supportive team focused on high-quality care across community and facility-based settings.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law
• 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Prior experience in long-term care industry (preferred)
• PTCB National Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's to ensure timely return
• Provide dispensing pharmacist with information on allergies and drug interactions, duplications, and other items flagged by the system
• Create and maintain accurate customer records
