Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• PTCB National Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information required.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timeliness.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information on allergies, drug interactions and therapeutic duplications flagged by the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
