Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, seeks a Front End Pharmacy Technician for the 2nd shift (3:30PM - 12:00AM) on-site in Tampa, FL. You will perform order entry and collaborate with the pharmacy team to support safe dispensing and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include triaging requests, verifying dosages, assisting in narcotics reviews, and maintaining accurate patient records, with required licensure and 1 year of experience. LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified/licensed/registered as a pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department and urgency.
• Entering orders and assisting the pharmacist with dispensing accuracy.
• Reviewing narcotics Rx’s for timeliness and accuracy.
• Communicating allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications flagged by the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
